Wisconsin High School Basketball - Gillett fells Hillsboro
December 29, 2023: Gillett, WI 54124 Gillett Tigers (Gillett, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hillsboro Tigers (Hillsboro, WI), 68-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gillett upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Tigers host Lena (Lena, WI) to clash with the Wildcats in a Marinette & Oconto bout on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Lena won 57-45 in their recent league bout against Oneida Nation (Oneida, WI)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Viroqua Blackhawks (Viroqua, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Hillsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 73-64 non-league loss to North Crawford (Soldiers Grove, WI).
