December 29, 2023: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 The Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 72-68 in Friday's non-league test.
The Raiders (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Streamwood (Streamwood, IL). The Sabres go into the Upstate Eight test with a 1-13 record. In their last test, Streamwood was tipped by Maine West (Des Plaines, IL), 75-28, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Chicago Hope Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Taft will encounter a squad coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Christ the King (Chicago, IL). The record now stands at 9-4.
