Mississippi High School Basketball - Terry fells Gulfport
December 29, 2023: Gulfport, MS 39507 Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gulfport Admirals (Gulfport, MS), 73-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Terry upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to West Jones (Laurel, MS) to play the Mustangs in a 6A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-10.
Next up, the Admirals play the Hancock Hawks (Kiln, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gulfport will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 60-34 non-league win over Greene County (Eutaw, AL).
