Michigan High School Basketball - Shrine Catholic can't hold off Harbor Light Christian
December 29, 2023: Harbor Springs, MI 49740 The Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Shrine Catholic Knights to 43 in the Swordsmen non-league victory on Friday.
The Swordsmen now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Traverse Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. Harbor Light Christian will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 56-40 non-league loss to Forest Area (Fife Lake, MI). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-7.
The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cardinal Mooney Catholic (Marine City, MI). The Cardinals come into the Catholic Intersectional I contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Cardinal Mooney Catholic was nudged by Clintondale (Clinton Township, MI), 52-42, in a non-league contest.
