Vermont High School Basketball - Harwood crushes Middlebury
December 29, 2023: Moretown, VT 05660 Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), 58-37 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Harwood upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Highlanders travel to North Country Union (Newport, VT) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-1. North Country Union lost 47-46 in their recent non-league bout against Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT)
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Middlebury will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Slaters go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 69-66 non-league loss to South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).
