The North Vermilion Patriots basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting Holden Rockets to 46 in the Patriots non-league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league contest on Friday, January 5.

The Rockets (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Doyle edged Sumner (Kentwood, LA), 67-26, in a non-league contest.
