December 29, 2023: Montague, MI 49437 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Holland Dutch (Holland, MI) and the host Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI), saw Holland's basketball squad wallop Montague by a tally of 73-50.
With the victory, Holland improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Dutch host Muskegon (Muskegon, MI) to confront the Big Reds in a Ottawa-Kent - Green challenge on Friday, January 5. The Big Reds come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Muskegon won 74-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Ottawa Hills (Grand Rapids, MI)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI) in a Western Michigan Lakes - Lakes challenge, on Friday, January 5. Montague will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
