The Scranton Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders to 46 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now hold a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Abington Heights for a Lackawanna 1 bout on Tuesday, January 2. Scranton will play a Comets squad coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Comets record now stands at 8-0.

Next up, the Crusaders play the Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA) in a Lackawanna 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Holy Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record.
