December 29, 2023: Stanfield, OR 97875 The Stanfield Tigers (Stanfield, OR) basketball felled the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR), 79-69 in Friday's non-league test.
The Tigers (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Central Linn thwarted Salem Academy (Salem, OR), 53-40, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Portland Adventist Academy for a 3A Lewis & Clark test on Tuesday, January 2. Horizon Christian will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Faith Bible Christian (Aloha, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 9-1.
