Louisiana High School Basketball - Loyola College Prep nips Hornbeck
December 29, 2023: Shreveport, LA 71101 Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hornbeck Hornets (Hornbeck, LA), 51-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Loyola College Prep upgrades its record to 4-8 on the season. The Flyers travel to Ringgold (Ringgold, LA) to play the Redskins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Redskins go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Ringgold won 59-50 in their recent non-league bout against Benton (Benton, LA)
Next up, the Hornets play the St. Mary Tigers (Natchitoches, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Hornbeck will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Winnfield (Winnfield, LA).
