Indian Creek Timberwolves (Shabbona, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 58-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Indian Creek upgrades its record to 11-6 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Somonauk (Somonauk, IL) to play the Bobcats in a Little Ten bout on Friday, January 5. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Somonauk lost 58-33 in their recent non-league bout against Wilmington (Wilmington, IL)

Next up, the Comets play the Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Reed-Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Huskers go into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 51-43 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, IL).
