Kentucky High School Basketball - Williamsburg nips Iroquois
December 29, 2023: Louisville, KY 40215 Williamsburg Yellowjackets (Williamsburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Iroquois Raiders (Louisville, KY), 66-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Williamsburg upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Bellevue won 73-59 in their recent non-league bout against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY)
Next up, the Raiders play the Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Iroquois will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-11 record after their 73-59 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, KY).
