Paris Wildcats (Paris, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kilgore Bulldogs (Kilgore, TX), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Paris upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-10.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Sam Rayburn Rebels (Ivanhoe, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Kilgore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Rebels go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Pleasant Grove (Texarkana, TX).
