In Friday's non-league match, the visiting La Grange Leopards basketball team scored a good 82-64 triumph over the Luling Eagles.

In their next game, the Leopards meet the Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 match, on Tuesday, January 2. La Grange will attempt to move on its 14-8 season record.
