The La Plata Warriors basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the host McLean to 53 in the Warriors non-league victory on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Suitland for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. La Plata will battle a Rams team coming off a 71-64 non-league loss to Dunbar (Washington, DC). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.

The (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Spencerville Adventist Academy (Spencerville, MD). The Hornets come into the Potomac Valley contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Spencerville Adventist Academy was routed by Avalon (Wheaton, MD), 72-65, in a non-league contest.
