Louisiana High School Basketball - Lafayette Christian Academy can't hold off Madison-Ridgeland Academy
December 29, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70507 The Madison-Ridgeland Academy Patriots basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Lafayette Christian Academy Knights to 50 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 21-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas More for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Madison-Ridgeland Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 11-3.
The Knights (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Brother Martin (New Orleans, LA). The Crusaders enter the non-league contest with a 13-5 record. In their last contest, Brother Martin was nudged by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 50-45, in a non-league contest.
