Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest tops Lemont
December 29, 2023: Lemont, IL 60439 Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL), 60-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Lake Forest upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Scouts travel to Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 9-5. Wheaton North won 66-63 in their recent non-league bout against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)
Next up, the Lemont HS play the Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Lemont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 63-46 non-league win over Crane Medical (Chicago, IL).
