Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area topped by Lambert
December 29, 2023: Monroe, GA 30656 The Lambert Longhorns basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the host Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes to 68 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Lambert will battle a Dragons team coming off a 70-51 non-league win over Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 11-2.
The Purple Hurricanes (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Jackson County was defeated by Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 70-51, in a non-league contest.
