Wisconsin High School Basketball - New Richmond crushes Lourdes
December 29, 2023: New Richmond, WI 54017 New Richmond Tigers (New Richmond, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN), 69-39 in a non-league bout.
With the win, New Richmond upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers host Superior (Superior, WI) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Superior won 84-57 in their recent non-league bout against Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI)
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Cougars (Zumbrota, MN) in a AA Section 1 game, on Friday, January 5. Lourdes will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record.
