The Marked Tree Indians basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Riverside Rebels to 52 in the Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Island Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Marked Tree will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 72-64 non-league win over Bay (Bay, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-7.

The Rebels (18-4) will now prepare for their contest against Manila (Manila, AR). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Manila was nudged by East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 58-44, in a non-league contest.
