The McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) basketball nipped the visiting White Shield Warriors (Roseglen, ND), 47-42 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD). The Buffalos go into the A Region 6 test with a 2-3 record.

The Warriors now own a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mandaree for a B District 6 test on Wednesday, January 10.
