Texas High School Basketball - Trinidad overwhelmed by Mildred
December 29, 2023: Trinidad, TX 75163 The Mildred Eagles basketball team scored 93 points and restricted the host Trinidad Trojans to 30 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kemp for a 3A Region III District 18 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Mildred will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 58-50 non-league loss to Dallas Christian (Mesquite, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-16.
The Trojans (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Milford (Milford, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region IV District 26 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Milford was routed by Axtell (Axtell, TX), 44-30, in a non-league contest.
