Michigan High School Basketball - Monroe fells South Lyon
December 29, 2023: Monroe, MI 48161 Monroe Trojans (Monroe, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Lyon Lions (South Lyon, MI), 74-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Trojans travel to Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Northville Mustangs (Northville, MI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. South Lyon will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 58-51 non-league win over Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI).
