The Nelson basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting South Salem Saxons to 60 in the non-league victory on Friday.

The now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Oswego for a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. Nelson will clash with a Lakers squad coming off a 72-48 non-league loss to West Linn (West Linn, OR). The Lakers record now stands at 2-10.
