Connecticut High School Basketball - Shelton knocked off by New Canaan
December 29, 2023: Shelton, CT 06484 The New Canaan Rams basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Shelton Gaels to 45 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Danbury for a Fairfield County contest on Friday, January 5. New Canaan will battle a Hatters team coming off a 66-64 non-league win over Waterbury Career Academy (Waterbury, CT). The Hatters record now stands at 3-2.
The Gaels (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record.
