The Parkwood Wolf Pack basketball team (Monroe, NC), was nudged 57-55 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC)

The Trojans now possess a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont battle on Wednesday, January 3. Northwest Cabarrus will confront a Vikings team coming off a 85-56 non-league win over Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 11-0.

The Wolf Pack (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Yellow Jackets come into the 2A/3A Rocky River battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Forest Hills was nudged by Darlington (Darlington, SC), 58-56, in a non-league battle.
