River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oak Hill Oaks (Oak Hill, OH), 49-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Valley upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Athens (The Plains, OH) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Tri-Valley I bout on Friday, January 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Athens lost 49-34 in their recent non-league bout against Logan Elm (Circleville, OH)

Next up, the Oaks clash with the Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Oak Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 50-27 non-league loss to Southeastern (Chillicothe, OH).
