Illinois High School Basketball - Oak Lawn knocked off by St. Anthony
December 29, 2023: Effingham, IL 62401 The St. Anthony Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Oak Lawn Spartans to 49 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Highland for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. St. Anthony will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 55-45 non-league win over Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.
The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL). The Wooden Shoes enter the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Teutopolis was defeated by Highland (Highland, IL), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
