December 29, 2023: Oswego, IL 60543 Peoria Lions (Peoria, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), 63-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Peoria upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to play the Cyclones in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Cyclones come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Sacred Heart-Griffin lost 48-34 in their recent league bout against Glenwood (Chatham, IL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Oswego will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Blazers come into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 66-41 non-league win over North Chicago (North Chicago, IL).
