In Friday's non-league outing, the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) basketball squad beat the host West Warwick Wizards (West Warwick, RI), by a margin of 58-44.

The Patriots (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies go into the Division 2 outing with a 0-5 record. In their last outing, Mt. Hope was beaten by Burrillville (Harrisville, RI), 62-42, in a league outing.

The Wizards now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Exeter-West Greenwich for a Division 3 outing on Thursday, January 4. West Warwick will clash with a Scarlet Knights squad coming off a 67-47 non-league loss to Central Falls (Central Falls, RI). The Scarlet Knights record now stands at 1-6.
