Vermont High School Basketball - White River Valley tops Proctor
December 29, 2023: Proctor, VT 05765 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the White River Valley Wildcats (Royalton, VT) and the host Proctor Phantoms (Proctor, VT), saw White River Valley's basketball squad knock off Proctor by a tally of 61-43.
With the victory, White River Valley improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rivendell Academy (Orford, NH) to play the in a Southern Vermont - C challenge on Wednesday, January 3. The come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Rivendell Academy lost 56-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Windsor (Windsor, VT)
Next up, the Phantoms play the West Rutland Golden Horde (West Rutland, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D challenge, on Friday, January 5. Proctor will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Golden Horde come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 50-45 non-league win over Green Mountain (Chester, VT).
