The Sutherland Knights topped the host Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets basketball team by a final score of 56-46 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Brockport Blue Devils (Brockport, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe County III game, on Wednesday, January 3. Sutherland will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 2-7 record after their 71-51 non-league loss to Churchville-Chili (Churchville, NY).
