The Whitmer Panthers basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the host Sandusky Blue Streaks to 71 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a Northern Lakes contest on Friday, January 5. Whitmer will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 53-48 non-league win over Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-6.

The Blue Streaks (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bellevue (Bellevue, OH). The Redmen come into the Sandusky Bay - Lake contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Bellevue prevailed over Eastwood (Pemberville, OH), 45-36, in a non-league contest.
