Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater nudges Sartell-St. Stephen
December 29, 2023: Sartell, MN 56377 Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres (Sartell, MN), 74-71 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stillwater upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Ponies host Rogers (Rogers, MN) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Rogers won 88-80 in their recent non-league bout against Fargo South (Fargo, ND)
Next up, the Sabres clash with the Elk River Elks (Elk River, MN) in a AAAA Section 8 bout, on Saturday, December 30. Sartell-St. Stephen will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Elks go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 58-26 league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN).
