The Wilmington Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Somonauk Bobcats to 33 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peotone for a Illinois Central 8 contest on Friday, January 5. Wilmington will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 64-40 non-league win over Grant Park (Grant Park, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-12.

The Bobcats (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL). The Timberwolves come into the Little Ten contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Indian Creek triumphed over Reed-Custer (Braidwood, IL), 58-55, in a non-league contest.
