December 29, 2023: Buffalo, NY 14220

St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Park Sparks (Buffalo, NY), 61-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, St. Mary's upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lancers travel to Iroquois (Elma, NY) to clash with the Chiefs in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Sparks clash with the McKinley Macks (Buffalo, NY) in a Section 6 Buffalo I bout, on Thursday, January 4. South Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Macks go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 86-55 non-league loss to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY).
