Kentucky High School Basketball - South Warren thwarts Union County
December 29, 2023: Bowling Green, KY 42101 The South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) basketball knocked off the visiting Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY), 74-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Owensboro (Owensboro, KY). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 4-5 record. In their last test, Owensboro went down by Henry Clay (Lexington, KY), 73-61, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Henry Clay for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Union County will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 68-41 non-league win over Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-0.
