High School Basketball - Trinity Christian nips Varsity Opponent
December 29, 2023: , Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Varsity Opponent (, ), 72-71 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Crusaders host John Milledge Academy (Milledgeville, GA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 4-4. John Milledge Academy lost 64-45 in their recent non-league bout against Campbell (Smyrna, GA)
Next up, the play the Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate Phoenix (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 198-762 season record. The Phoenix go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 47-36 non-league win over Olympic (Charlotte, NC).
