California High School Basketball - Monte Vista knocked off by Bishop O'Dowd
December 29, 2023: Danville, CA 94526 The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Monte Vista Mustangs to 43 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dougherty Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Bishop O'Dowd will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 57-43 non-league win over Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-4.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dublin (Dublin, CA). The Gaels enter the non-league contest with a 10-2 record. In their last contest, Dublin was defeated by Dougherty Valley (San Ramon, CA), 57-43, in a non-league contest.
