The Hurricanes now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blackhawk for a non-league battle on Friday, January 19.
The Cardinals (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Boardman dropped by Canfield (Canfield, OH), 50-23, in a non-league battle.
