California High School Basketball - Chaparral thwarted by La Costa Canyon
December 29, 2023: Carlsbad, CA 92009 The Chaparral Pumas basketball team (Temecula, CA), was toppled 62-49 in Friday's non-league battle with the host La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA)
The Mavericks now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Torrey Pines for a battle on Saturday, January 6.
The Pumas (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Liberty (Winchester, CA). The Bison come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Liberty beat Shadow Hills (Indio, CA), 50-30, in a non-league battle.
