Wisconsin High School Basketball - Almond-Bancroft fells Edgar
December 29, 2023: Almond, WI 54909 Almond-Bancroft Eagles (Almond, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Edgar Wildcats (Edgar, WI), 40-25 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Almond-Bancroft upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Eagles host Pittsville (Pittsville, WI) to play the Panthers in a Central Wisconsin - South bout on Thursday, January 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Pittsville won 55-16 in their recent non-league bout against Necedah (Necedah, WI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Athens Bluejays (Athens, WI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Edgar will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 75-34 non-league loss to McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI).
