Nebraska High School Basketball - Aquinas can't hold off Palmyra
December 29, 2023: David City, NE 68632 The Palmyra Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Aquinas Monarchs to 49 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Panthers now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David City for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Palmyra will battle a Scouts team coming off a 59-36 non-league win over Douglas County West (Valley, NE). The Scouts record now stands at 6-2.
The Monarchs (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Clarkson/Leigh (Clarkson, NE). The Patriots enter the C2 District 5 match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Clarkson/Leigh tipped Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE), 65-31, in a non-league match.
