December 29, 2023: Nocona, TX 76255 In Friday's non-league outing, the Benjamin Mustangs (Benjamin, TX) basketball squad beat the host Prairie Valley Bulldogs (Nocona, TX), by a margin of 41-28.
The Mustangs (5-8) will now prepare for their outing against Crowell (Crowell, TX). The Wildcats go into the 1A Region II District 16 outing with a 1-3 record.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Slidell for a 1A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, January 2. Prairie Valley will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 50-36 league loss to Forestburg (Forestburg, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-8.
