The Black Knights now possess a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highlands for a 1A Smoky Mountain battle on Thursday, January 4. Robbinsville will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 36-31 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-11.
The Blue Devils (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Patton (Morganton, NC). The Panthers come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Patton was nudged by Avery County (Newland, NC), 64-23, in a non-league battle.
