Washington High School Basketball - Zillah nips Brewster
December 29, 2023: Zillah, WA 98953 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Zillah Leopards (Zillah, WA) and the visiting Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA), saw Zillah's basketball squad hold off Brewster by a tally of 48-43.
With the victory, Zillah improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Leopards host Kittitas (Kittitas, WA) to play the Coyotes in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Kittitas won 41-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Connell (Connell, WA)
Next up, the Bears play the Tonasket Tigers (Tonasket, WA) in a 2B Central Washington challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Brewster will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 66-34 non-league win over Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA).
