New Jersey High School Basketball - Bridgeton nips Paulsboro
December 29, 2023: Bridgeton, NJ 08302 Bridgeton Bulldogs (Bridgeton, NJ) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Paulsboro Red Raiders (Paulsboro, NJ), 41-35 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bridgeton upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Vineland (Vineland, NJ) to play the Fighting Clan in a Cape/Atlantic - West bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Fighting Clan come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Vineland won 55-46 in their recent non-league bout against Clayton (Clayton, NJ)
Next up, the Red Raiders play the Lindenwold Lions (Lindenwold, NJ) in a Colonial bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Paulsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 41-36 non-league loss to Bordentown (Bordentown, NJ).
