Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bucktail nips Harmony Area
December 29, 2023: Farwell, PA 17764 Bucktail Bucks (Farwell, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Harmony Area Owls (Westover, PA), 30-26 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bucktail upgrades its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bucks host Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA) to play the Golden Knights in a Mid-Penn - D4 bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Golden Knights come into the bout with a record of 5-4. Neumann Regional Academy won 64-61 in their recent non-league bout against Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA)
Next up, the Owls play the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Moshannon Valley bout, on Thursday, January 4. Harmony Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 2-9 record after their 50-24 non-league loss to Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA).
