Texas High School Basketball - Vandegrift thwarts Burnet
December 29, 2023: Burnet, TX 78611 The Vandegrift Vipers (Austin, TX) basketball knocked off the host Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), 52-38 in Friday's non-league test.
The Vipers (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Klein (Klein, TX). The Bearkats go into the non-league test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Klein went down by Round Rock (Round Rock, TX), 55-53, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 19-7 record. They play next when they travel to Leander for a non-league test on Friday, December 29. Burnet will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 47-38 non-league win over Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Lions record now stands at 8-12.
