New York High School Basketball - Caravel crushes St. Anthony's
December 29, 2023: Melville, NY 11747 Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. Anthony's Friars (Melville, NY), 48-22 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Caravel upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Buccaneers host Tatnall (Wilmington, DE) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Tatnall lost 39-23 in their recent non-league bout against Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE)
In their next game, the Friars face the Plainview-Old Bethpage JFK Hawks (Plainview, NY) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 2. St. Anthony's will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Hawks enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 47-38 league win over Uniondale (Uniondale, NY).
